Shraddha Thread: Privacy Policy
Who we are
The Shraddha Thread app ("the app") is a customer portal for the registered trade customers of Shree Shraddha Thread & Jari, Surat, India ("Shraddha"). Merciglobal Systems Pvt Ltd, Surat, India ("Merciglobal") develops and publishes the app and hosts Shraddha's ERP system.
Who can use the app
The app is for businesses that Shraddha has already registered as customers. You cannot create an account in the app; Shraddha gives each customer a login (a registered mobile number and password).
Information the app uses
- Sign-in details: your registered mobile number, and your password, which is MD5-hashed on the phone before it is sent to Shraddha's server over HTTPS. Only the mobile number and that hash are kept on the phone, in the encrypted iOS Keychain or Android Keystore, so you stay signed in. Signing out removes them.
- Your business records with Shraddha: orders, dispatch challans, invoices, returns, credit notes, outstanding balances and your ledger. The app reads these from Shraddha's ERP system each time you open a screen. When you place an order, the items, shades and quantities you choose are sent to Shraddha.
- Display preference: your Day/Night theme choice, stored only on the phone.
What we do not collect
- No location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or other device data.
- No advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No payments are made in the app.
How information is used and shared
Your information is used only to sign you in, show you your records with Shraddha, and pass your orders to Shraddha. It is not sold, rented or used for advertising. Merciglobal processes it only as Shraddha's technology provider. A PDF of an invoice, challan or report goes to another app (for example WhatsApp or Files) only when you tap Share and choose where it goes.
Security and retention
All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted with HTTPS. Business records are kept in Shraddha's ERP for as long as Shraddha's legal and accounting obligations require. Data stored on the phone is deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app.
Your choices and account deletion
You can sign out at any time from Account → Sign out. To have your app login removed, or to ask about, correct or delete your personal information, contact Shraddha or write to sales@merciglobal.com. We will respond within 30 days. Records that tax and accounting law requires Shraddha to keep (such as invoices) cannot be deleted before the legal period ends.
Children
The app is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
